November 2024 workshop
Thursday, November 21 • 5:30 p.m.
St. John’s Lutheran Church
1000 Helena Avenue, across from Helena Middle School
Thanks to all who made it to our first photography meeting. As we discussed, first- and second-year photographers should determine what camera they are going to use, and practice the “holding and shooting your camera” techniques that were included in the handout, so you begin to get used to working with your camera. It’s strongly recommended that second-year and beyond 4-H’ers should work with a DSLR or mirrorless camera this year, so you can learn more advanced, manual adjustments. Please contact Luke if you have any questions.
Our next meeting is Thursday, November 21st, 5:30 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church. Together we’ll be building “camera obscuras,” the earliest form of a camera to demonstrate how light and images can be captured. You’ll also learn about your first photo challenge to pursue over the holidays. See you then! Visit LC4HPhoto.com for more information.
