Self-Portrait Gallery:
http://elementl.net/4H/self-portrait-gallery/
You have the camera. You have the vision. How do you want to portray yourself visually? Using the photography skills you have learned, and inspiration from self-portraits you’ve seen, you are challenged to plan and execute a creative, photographic self-portrait. Think BEYOND a regular selfie!
Some things to consider in planning your self-portrait:
- Lighting and light sources
- composition
- color, sepia tone, or black/white
- clothing and other visual elements
- Depth, focus and exposure (or double-exposure!)
What you can’t use:
- No photoshop or Instagram filters. We’re not looking for any software enhancement, just your skills and creativity using the camera you have.
Submit your photo via the form below, or by email. Deadline: Friday, April 24. I will post your self-portraits in an online gallery after the deadline. There will be a comment section where you can provide insight/explanation on your photo, as well as feedback and critique to others!
